I have been wading in or studying streams, rivers, lakes estuaries and groundwater in New Hampshire and throughout Northern New England since attending University of New Hampshire.  There I obtained a Bachelor’s and, later, a Master’s degree in Geology and Hydrology. I maintain a professional geologist registration in both Maine and New Hampshire.

For over 12 years, I worked in groundwater resource evaluation, contaminant hydrology and cleanup for towns and businesses before consulting on my own.  From 2000 to 2005, I also served as executive director of the Seacoast Land Trust (SLT), which focused on watershed scale land protection.  In 2003 I was honored with the Gulf of Maine visionary award for SLT’s work in land protection and stewardship.

I live in the seacoast with my family and enjoy weekend hiking, biking, SUPing, and gardening. I am an active volunteer for the Town of Rye and served on the Open Space Committee, Energy Committee and am now a member of the Conservation Commission.
